Carolina Forest
In the late 1990s, the master planned community of Carolina Forest came to fruition. Situated between Conway and Myrtle Beach off of Highway 501, what started as a couple of golf courses, neighborhoods and retail establishments has grown into a town unto itself. Residents have the ability to connect to many areas of Horry County through International Drive and Highway 31, bridging the inland areas to the beach. Carolina Forest has something for everyone, waterfront luxury mansions overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway and starter homes for new families and first-time home buyers. The community is home to multiple denominations of faith, growing businesses, restaurants, professional offices and schools. As one of the newer communities to accommodate the area, Carolina Forest is a perfect example of the growth of the Grand Strand!
