North Myrtle Beach Aquatics and Fitness Center

The centerpiece of the NMB Aquatics and Fitness Center is an impressive 8-lane, 25-yard lap pool with a full Colorado timing system and scoreboard. There's also a 3-lane warm water therapy pool perfect for water exercise classes and rehabilitation. The popular 20-foot indoor waterslide adds fun for families, while the sauna and hot tub provide perfect post-workout relaxation.
The center offers free beginner swimming lessons focusing on drowning prevention, plus water exercise classes designed to build cardiovascular fitness and strength.
Fitness and Recreation
Beyond the pools, the facility includes two racquetball courts, a 2-lane walking/running track, and a gymnasium with two basketball courts. The fitness area features cardio machines, free weights, and strength training equipment for all fitness levels. Popular group fitness classes include Body Pump, Zumba, and spinning, with personal training also available.
Family Services
The center provides supervised care for children ages 6 months to 10 years for up to two hours. All staff members are CPR certified. The center also offers after-school activities and summer camp programs.
Hours: Monday-Thursday 5:00 AM - 9:00 PM, Friday 5:00 AM - 8:00 PM, Saturday 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM, Sunday 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM
While membership provides the best value, daily and weekly rates are available for visitors. The center also hosts community events like wellness fairs and charity walks, making it a true community hub in the Grand Strand area.
