The Spring season holds some of the best events and festivals the Grand Strand has to offer. We pulled together some of the most well-loved (and our favorites) throughout the area to share with you!
- 18th Annual Ground Zero Dragon Boat Festival: April 25, 2026. Teams of 20 paddlers and one drummer race Dragon Boats at The Market Common raising money for Ground Zero.
- Brookgreen Gardens Spring Wine Festival: April 25, 2026. An afternoon of wine tasting and live music on the Pegasus Lawn in one of the South’s best destinations.
- Myrtle Beach Art & Music Fest: May 1, 2026. An "Alien Circus" themed free festival at the Myrtle Beach Train Depot with live music and painters.
- Sun Fun Festival & Water Safety Day: May 1, 2026. The unofficial start of summer at Plyler Park, in Downtown Myrtle Beach featuring "Mama Duck" (the world’s largest rubber duck) and water safety tips.
- 30th Annual Blessing of the Inlet: May 2, 2026. A massive, free community festival at Belin Memorial UMC in Murrells Inlet. It features over 70 arts and crafts vendors, a wide array of seafood and local food, children's activities, and a formal blessing of the fishing fleet and community at 11:30 a.m.
- Georgetown Food, Beer & Wine Fest: May 2, 2026. Held at Francis Marion Park in downtown Georgetown, this 5th annual event includes a professional cooking competition, various brewery showcases, and extensive wine tastings.
- Socastee Heritage Festival: May 4, 2026. A large family-oriented festival near the Socastee Swing Bridge. It typically features three stages of live music, hundreds of vendors, and a significant "kid zone" with inflatables and games.
- PGA Tour: Myrtle Beach Classic: May 7–10, 2026. Professional golf tournament at the Dunes Golf and Beach Club.
- Myrtle Beach Bike Week Spring Rally: May 8–17, 2026. This 10-day event features bike shows, live music, and scenic rides with events from Little River to Murrells Inlet.
- Mayfest on Main: May 12, 2026 (the Saturday before Mother's Day). This is one of North Myrtle Beach's largest free festivals. It takes over Main Street with live national musical acts, children's areas, and over 100 upscale vendors selling arts, crafts, and food.
- World Famous Blue Crab Festival: May 16–17, 2026. A massive seafood festival in North Myrtle Beach with fresh local catches, live music, and artisan crafts.
